Fran Cherny is a business leader, inspirational speaker, and consultant for executives who are driving cultural transformation in their organizations.
Born in Buenos Aires and currently resident in Barcelona, Fran leads Axialent Global, an international consultancy pioneering conscious change in business.
Fran is recognized by the industry for his track record in facilitating change processes that generate real and lasting results. His methodology is based on innovative practices that promote sustainable transformation and guide leaders and management teams in aligning business strategy with their core values.
Over the course of 15 years, and in more than 20 countries, Fran has supported leading multinationals such as Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Facebook, Yellow Pages, and AXA, through workshops, conferences, one-to-one executive consulting, and facilitating high-performing teams.
Fran is passionate about training and developing teams. He has led the recruitment and training of more than 100 consultants throughout his career, and has inspired many others through his talks. He attributes this passion to his experience in the world of pre-professional football, where he learned at a young age the value of personal talent and collective commitment in enhancing overall competitive performance.
Prior to occupying his current position of CEO, Fran was responsible for opening Axialent’s European operation; he also led the company’s global expansion, developing new markets in Asia, Europe, the United States and Latin America.
Before joining Axialent, Fran worked as an independent consultant in Institutional Relations. During a period working as a consultant for Shell, he developed a reference guide for evaluating and implementing projects that became a reference point for the Corporate Social Responsibility community.
At just 21 years of age, Fran became the Director of Fundación Iniciativa, a non-profit organization that pioneered the development of social leadership among young people. In this role he was recognized as a “Model for Society” by the Argentinean publication Veintitrés.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
During his adolescence, Fran trained as a pre-professional footballer in various teams in Buenos Aires. He continues to enjoy sport, playing and training regularly in amateur football tournaments, as well as playing tennis and participating in marathons. His favorite literary genres are crime novels and historical biographies.
Fran also dedicates a large portion of his free time to studying and experimenting with varied practices of personal development, and regularly shares insights he acquires along the way with clients, colleagues, and friends.
